What we do

GSM India is focused on living out the message of Jesus through both faith and deeds…and inviting others to join us in doing the same. In James 2:14-17, the brother of Jesus writes

Good Samaritan Mission India Promo from Cherish.Kibler on Vimeo.

“What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, “Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead”

Following in the footsteps of William Booth, founder of the Salvation Army, we have adopted the motto, “Soup, soap, and salvation.” As you get in touch with the intense physical needs of the people of India, you’ll soon find out that without the basic necessities of life, it is difficult to hear the message of God’s love. As followers of Jesus, we believe that we are called to simultaneously share the Good News and embody the Good News.
Our Ministries & Projects

As we carry out this important mission, we’re impacting the nation of India in many ways… Orphanages

In India, there is a huge suffering because of starvation and poverty. About 40% of the Indian population is starving everyday and these starvation deaths takes place slowly and silently. About 30,000 orphan kids dying every day all over the world with hunger and starvation. And 85 % of these deaths take place in Asia and Africa. Surely there must be a Christian response to feed these hungry kids and once again there is GSM – India.
